Yupo, ink and resists
I owe this play to Nancy Crawford. I can watch her videos over and over. Sadly, she passed away about a year and a half ago. This goes out to her memory.
The top panel is Yupo paper onto which I randomly squirted Elmer's glue. After that dried, I dropped my favorite two inks, black and brown and sprayed with water. The Yupo soaks nothing up so you are left with a very smooth surface. After the ink dried, I removed the Elmer's. I dashed a bit of watercolor onto the stark white lines that were left and doodled in some parts. It just seems to glow.
The bottom two are inks over ocher pastel scribble I mean Mark Making...on watercolor paper.. I also rubber stamped and used a rub-on. I need to use up my stash!
