Wind Borne

Seeds, feathers, pollen and leaves all move when the wind blows.  Seen and unseen.

We will gather some these natural 'wind borne' elements and seal them in a hand made book.  The outer parts of our books will be of sturdy, archival watercolor paper.  The centers within the pages will be juxtaposed with assorted ethereal 'membrane' that seal and hold our findings.

It will become a document of sorts that catches wind blown elements and henceforth stills them forever. 

The book we make will be housed in a box that we will also make.  The sample shows the cover of the box that was color-washed after applying molding paste thru stencils.  The title and a bit of sketching finishes off the cover.
