A Tiny Dress Made of Clay
Mindful Offerings
I cut a dress form from polymer clay. Before I baked it, I rubber stamped into it for texture. After baking, I aged it with paint to antique it. There is a clay rose attached with tacky glue.
Certain imagery can begin to tell a story. Beginning a story creates interest in an art piece. This wee dress is just such a piece. Who wore it? Where is she now? How old is it? The fact that it's not pristine white lace makes it much more interesting, I think. If this concept works for you, you'll enjoy this class.
