An aerie is a raptor nest built high up in a tree or cliff. I began this piece by cutting house shapes out of a teabag. After adhering it to the page, I enhanced it with gray marker. I laid a stencil over the image and traced the star shapes with light and dark markers. The numbers are waste from a die cut out.
