Day 3 |
The top blue panel is water-colored using watercolor crayons and a water brush. After the base color dried, I stamped and white-embossed a stamp with open areas. This floral stamp is more or less an outline of flowers. I used a finer water brush to fill in the floral colors. I did a few other pieces of watercolor after this one, so you may see more soon.
Challenges:
365 Cards - 5 layers
Craft Your Passion - Shabby Chic or Vintage
A Blog Named Hero - try something new
Oooooh, I can't wait. I love the look of watercolors every since my stint in Creative Chemistry 101 last year. This card is so soft and beautiful because of the watercolor effect. I will eagerly anticipate others soon.
ReplyDeleteJust popped by as I'm guesting over at CYP this month. The water colours are very pretty, but I especially like the effect of stamping and embossing in white.
