Another new technique for the new year- Watercolor!

Day 3
The top blue panel is water-colored using watercolor crayons and a water brush.  After the base color dried, I stamped and white-embossed a stamp with open areas.  This floral stamp is more or less an outline of flowers.  I used a finer water brush to fill in the floral colors.  I did a few other pieces of watercolor after this one, so you may see more soon.

Challenges:

  1. Oooooh, I can't wait. I love the look of watercolors every since my stint in Creative Chemistry 101 last year. This card is so soft and beautiful because of the watercolor effect. I will eagerly anticipate others soon.

  2. Just popped by as I'm guesting over at CYP this month. The water colours are very pretty, but I especially like the effect of stamping and embossing in white.

  6. Welcome to the "Vintage - Shabby Chic" Challenge at Craft Your Passion Anni! I like the layers and the water coloring looks great. The embossed image on that layer adds a nice touch too.
Hope to see you again next week!
