Blank Slate

Day 257
This is a Blank Slate card, aka, an open-ended card ready to go for any occasion.  I agree my card is a bit feminine, but that's just how I roll.
My design plan started out different, then evolved into this instead; that's why the entire bouquet ended up off-center.  Which was okay, but I felt I needed something to balance it.  That's how the bird got there.  I stamped it and colored it.  Also, the background paper should have been a bit pinker to match the roses.

In the spray of flowers, the roses are my hand-made ribbon roses.  I now attach a wire stem into them so I can wind the wire to bind them with others or just to a bow.  The leaves on the left are a rubber stamp that I colored and the right one is a die.  My pics are small; to get the full effect of the flowers, click to enlarge them.

  1. Beautiful Anni! The bird is a perfect add and I can see the space available for a sentiment. I can't get over the detail on the bird- maybe because I have a very similar stamp and haven't used it quite like this. Once again, you inspire me!
