Petit Cours de Botanique

My book of roses.  This is an altered children's book that I made for images and identification of a few roses I found in an old rose book.  The cover has a niche cut out with a little fairy and beads sewn in.  After decorating the cover, I sealed it in bee's wax.  Here are a few pages inside.

There is (or was) really a rose named Enfant de France.
It's fun making altered books.

  1. Anni ~ I really like your book of roses. It's so sweet and has such a wonderful vintage feeling to it. I love all of your little vintage photographs that you've used and the text in the backgrounds. And, or course, the wonderful vintage flowers that you have scattered throughout. Nice job! Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
