Amour

Ahh Mi Amour.
The first thing I made was the cluster of ribbon roses on a new tag die that I just got.  I cut it out of grunge paper and crackle painted it.  New ribbon you ask?  No, I just colored the edges of white seam binding with Copic B00, Frost Blue.  I plan to try a few other colors, too.  To do it, I just wound a long cut of ribbon around an empty spool and kept the marker tip along the inside edge while I unwound it.  The blue edge on the bottom was embossed in white then water-colored over with H2Os.  The embossing serves as a resist and wonderful results can be achieved.
I made the wee nest out of copper wire and oval fresh water pearls.  The hearts were punched from grunge paper also.  One was crackled and the other sprinkled with glitter.  Kind of a he/she thing going on here, and they're spooning, or...? That's Amour!
If you have a nest, you gotta add some birds.
